16" QHD+ 300Hz Gaming Laptop

The Evoc V3601A is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around a 2560 x 1600 resolution display with a 300Hz refresh rate. It targets users who need high frame rates and colour accuracy in a portable chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe Storage Interface

The 16 TB storage array uses two 8 TB M.2 drives connected through a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface. This link caps sequential throughput at the bandwidth of a four-lane fourth-generation PCIe connection. Drive performance will not exceed that electrical limit.

24-Core Ultra 9-290HX Plus Processor

The Intel Core Ultra 9-290HX Plus delivers 24 cores and 24 threads with a 2.7 GHz base clock and a 5.5 GHz maximum turbo frequency. This core count and frequency envelope defines the ceiling for compute-heavy workloads on this platform.

Questions about this item

Which memory and storage configuration does the EVOC V3601A ship with?

The laptop comes with 96 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory installed as two 48 GB modules in dual channel, and 16 TB of PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD storage provided by two 8 TB M.2 drives.

What does the 300 Hz figure on the 16 inch QHD+ panel mean for everyday use?

The 2560 x 1600 screen refreshes 300 times per second, so fast motion in games or scrolling stays sharp with minimal blur and low input latency.

What does the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface mean for the installed NVMe SSDs in practice?

Each drive runs on a four lane PCIe 4.0 link, giving a theoretical peak of roughly 8 GB/s so large game loads and file transfers hit the drive's maximum speed.
