Thermals and power in normal use

Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material is applied to the CPU and GPU to lower operating temperatures under sustained loads. Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology manages power delivery dynamically, balancing performance with thermal headroom during extended sessions. The chassis measures 14.21 by 10.20 by 1.22 inches and weighs 5.53 lbs.

96 GB DDR5 5600MHz memory capacity

The system includes 96 GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory in a dual-channel 2x48 GB configuration, enabling large dataset handling and heavy multitasking without paging. This capacity is the primary factor when deciding if the laptop suits memory-intensive professional applications.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD in the V3601A, and what step is often missed?

Open the base, insert the drive at an angle into the M.2 slot, press down and secure with the single screw; the step often missed is tightening that screw fully so the drive makes firm contact.

What maintenance will the Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound on the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and RTX 5050 need later?

The Gelid GC Extreme compound is rated for several years; plan to clean and reapply it if CPU or GPU temperatures rise noticeably under sustained load.

What limit appears first on the RTX 5050 8 GB GDDR7 during extended gaming at 300 Hz?

The 8 GB GDDR7 frame buffer fills first at QHD+ 2560x1600, forcing texture streaming or lower settings before the GPU core reaches its thermal ceiling.
