Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound on CPU and GPU

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material to both processor and graphics chip during assembly, lowering peak temperatures under sustained loads. The cooling system maintains stable clocks during extended sessions while keeping fan noise at a moderate level. Power draw scales with the 5.5 GHz maximum turbo frequency and the 8 GB GDDR7 video memory subsystem.

Questions about this item

Will the 16" QHD+ 300Hz display work with my older external monitor that only supports 60Hz?

Yes, the laptop can drive an external 60Hz monitor while its own panel runs at 300Hz; each output negotiates its own refresh rate independently.

How can I confirm the RTX 5050 with 8GB GDDR7 is performing correctly after setup?

Run a GPU stress test and verify the core clock reaches the advertised boost while the 8GB GDDR7 memory shows no errors in the vendor diagnostic tool.

What ships in the box and which parts must be purchased separately?

The box contains the V3601A laptop with 24-core Ultra 9 290HX Plus, 128GB DDR5 5600MHz (2×64GB), 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, RTX 5050 8GB GDDR7, Windows 11 Pro, and power adapter; no extra components are required for operation.
