System purpose

The Evoc V3601B is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9-290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU with 8 GB GDDR7 memory. It targets users who need desktop-class multi-thread performance and high-refresh visuals in a portable chassis. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed for immediate professional or creative workloads.

Applied upgrades

HIDevolution replaces the stock thermal compound with Gelid GC Extreme on both CPU and GPU to lower sustained operating temperatures. The memory is populated as 128 GB DDR5 5600 MHz in dual-channel configuration using two 64 GB modules. Storage consists of two 4 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSDs totalling 8 TB, delivering fast boot and load times for large project libraries.

Chassis and connectivity

The black chassis measures 14.21 inches wide by 10.20 inches deep with a height ranging from 1 to 1.22 inches and weighs 5.53 lbs. A 16-inch QHD+ panel running at 300 Hz provides sharp motion clarity for competitive gaming. FlexiCharger and Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology support adaptive power management during mixed workloads.

Questions about this item

Can the 128 GB DDR5 memory be expanded later?

The laptop already holds the maximum 128 GB (2 × 64 GB) of DDR5 5600 MHz in its two slots, so no further memory expansion is possible.

Which component hits its thermal limit first during long gaming sessions?

The Intel Core Ultra 9-290HX Plus 24-core CPU, running up to 5.5 GHz turbo, reaches its thermal ceiling before the RTX 5060 GPU under sustained heavy loads.

How loud and hot does the system get when running all day?

Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound on both CPU and GPU keeps temperatures lower and fan noise reduced compared to stock paste during continuous operation.
