Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Creative professionals and competitive gamers who need high refresh rates, multi-core CPU power and large fast storage in a 5.53 lb chassis will benefit. Users seeking maximum GPU tier performance, lighter ultraportables or devices without a discrete graphics card should consider other models.

RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics card

The installed NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 provides 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. This single specification determines whether the laptop meets the graphical performance threshold for your workload or preferred game settings at the native 2560x1600 resolution.

Questions about this item

What is included with the 16" QHD+ 300Hz laptop and what must I add myself?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro, a 24-core Ultra 9-290HX Plus processor, RTX 5060 graphics with 8GB GDDR7, 64GB DDR5 5600MHz memory in dual channel, and 4TB NVMe storage as two 2TB drives. Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound is applied to the CPU and GPU. No extra components are required for operation.

Should I choose the 64GB DDR5 and 4TB NVMe configuration or a different capacity?

The 64GB DDR5 5600MHz dual-channel kit and 4TB NVMe array are already installed. This configuration supports memory-intensive workloads and large game libraries without further upgrades.

What does the 5.5 GHz max turbo frequency mean for actual gameplay on the 300Hz panel?

The Ultra 9-290HX Plus can reach 5.5 GHz max turbo across its 24 cores, feeding high frame rates to the 2560x1600 300Hz display. Gelid GC Extreme on the CPU and GPU helps sustain those speeds under load.
