16" QHD+ 300Hz Display

The 16-inch QHD+ panel runs at 300 Hz and 2560 x 1600 resolution. Fast refresh removes the bottleneck that lower refresh panels impose on high-frame-rate gaming. Narrow bezels keep the chassis compact at 14.21 inches wide.

Core Ultra 9-290HX Plus 24-Core CPU

Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus delivers 24 cores and 24 threads with a 2.7 GHz base and 5.5 GHz max turbo. Arrow Lake architecture and 36 MB smart cache suit heavy multi-threaded workloads and high-frame-rate gaming. Buyers needing lower power draw or integrated graphics only should consider other models.

RTX 5070 8 GB GDDR7 Graphics

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 with 8 GB GDDR7 drives the 300 Hz display at native QHD+ resolution. The GPU is the single component that determines whether this laptop meets a buyer's frame-rate targets in modern titles.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR5 5600 MHz SO-DIMMs work alongside the 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) already installed?

The laptop ships with 16 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory in dual-channel configuration; matching SO-DIMMs of the same speed will operate together without issue.

How can I confirm the 16" QHD+ 300 Hz panel is running at its native 2560 x 1600 resolution and 300 Hz refresh rate?

Open Windows Display Settings or the NVIDIA Control Panel; both will report 2560 x 1600 at 300 Hz when the panel is operating as intended.

Does the box include a second M.2 NVMe drive or do I need to buy one separately for extra storage?

The 2 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD is pre-installed; any additional M.2 NVMe drive must be purchased separately.
