Built for High-End Gaming

The EVOC X5802A is an 18 inch gaming laptop driven by an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor with 24 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.5 GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card carrying 16 GB of GDDR7 video memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Desktop-Grade Cooling in a Portable Chassis

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material to both the processor and the graphics chip during assembly. This upgrade targets lower operating temperatures under sustained loads without requiring external hardware. The metal top, palm rest and bottom case provide a rigid structure for the internal components.

Factory Memory and Storage Configuration

The laptop arrives with 256 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory arranged as four 64 GB modules in dual channel mode. A 2 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD handles the operating system and primary applications. HIDevolution performs BIOS updates, driver installation and burn-in stress testing before the unit leaves their facility.

Questions about this item

What limits sustained performance on the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus 24-core CPU?

The 2.7 GHz base clock and 5.5 GHz max turbo frequency set the thermal ceiling; sustained all-core loads will settle below the peak turbo as cooling capacity is reached.

How loud and hot does the chassis get during all-day loads with Gelid GC Extreme applied?

Gelid GC Extreme on the CPU and GPU lowers junction temperatures versus stock paste, reducing fan speed needed for the same load; the metal top, palm rest and bottom case spread heat but will become warm to the touch.

What must I already own to use the 256 GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory and 2 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD?

Nothing extra — the 4 × 64 GB DDR5 modules and the NVMe SSD are factory-installed and validated; the laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro ready to boot.
