Built for heavy mobile workloads

The Evoc X5802B (X580WNS-G) is an 18 inch UHD+ gaming laptop driven by an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus 24-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16 GB GDDR7. It ships with 192 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and 24 TB of PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage across three 8 TB drives. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on a chassis measuring 15.59 by 10.95 by 0.98 inches and weighing 7.25 lbs.

Before ordering

Verify that your workspace can accommodate the 15.59 inch width and 10.95 inch depth of the unit. Ensure your power infrastructure can support the FlexiCharger adapter included with the system. Confirm that any external displays you plan to use accept the native 3840 by 2400 resolution at 200 Hz. Check that your peripherals and docking solutions are compatible with the available I/O on this specific model.

Thermals and acoustics

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material to both the CPU and GPU during assembly to improve heat transfer from the Arrow Lake processor and RTX 5080. Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology manages power delivery dynamically to balance performance with thermal output. Under sustained load the metal top, palm rest and bottom case act as additional heat-spreading surfaces. Fan behaviour and resulting noise levels will scale with the 5.5 GHz maximum turbo frequency and the 200 Hz display refresh rate.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro, a 24 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe array, 192 GB DDR5 5600 memory, the RTX 5080 with 16 GB GDDR7 and Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound pre-applied. Power adapter and documentation are included; no extra components are required.

Which storage and memory configuration should I choose for this model?

This unit is already built with the maximum supported 24 TB across three 8 TB NVMe drives and 192 GB across four 48 GB DDR5 modules, so no further capacity decisions are needed.

How does the 200 Hz UHD+ panel perform once the RTX 5080 is driving it?

The 18 inch 3840x2400 200 Hz display pairs with the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 to deliver high frame rates at native resolution in modern titles, while the Ultra 9 290HX Plus sustains up to 5.5 GHz turbo for consistent throughput.
