18-inch QHD+ 240 Hz gaming laptop

The Evoc X5802C pairs an 18-inch 2560 x 1600 display running at 240 Hz with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It ships with 192 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and 24 TB of PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage across three 8 TB drives. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Sustained load behaviour with Gelid GC Extreme

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material on the CPU and GPU before a full burn-in stress test verifies temperature stability. The 24-core Arrow Lake processor reaches a 5.5 GHz maximum turbo frequency while the RTX 5090 provides 24 GB of GDDR7 video memory. Metal top, palm rest and bottom case construction assists heat dissipation during extended sessions.

Pre-order checklist for your setup

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the X5802C get with the Ultra 9-290HX Plus and RTX 5090 running all day?

Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material on the CPU and GPU lowers temperatures compared to standard paste. The 18 inch chassis provides room for airflow, though sustained 5.5 GHz turbo loads will still produce audible fan noise.

What must I already own to use the 24 TB storage and 192 GB DDR5 memory?

Nothing extra is required. The laptop ships with three 8 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs and four 48 GB DDR5 5600 modules installed, so the full 24 TB and 192 GB are ready at first boot.

Can I keep using my older 60 Hz external monitor with the RTX 5090 24 GB GDDR7?

Yes. The GPU drives legacy displays at their native 60 Hz while the built-in 18 inch 2560x1600 panel runs at 240 Hz, so both work simultaneously without extra adapters.
