18-inch QHD+ 240Hz gaming laptop

The Evoc X5802C is an 18-inch gaming laptop with a QHD+ 2560x1600 display running at 240Hz. It is built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus 24-core processor with a 5.5 GHz max turbo and an NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics card with 24 GB GDDR7 video memory. The system includes 16 GB DDR5 5600MHz memory and 8 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage across two 4 TB drives. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Suits high-refresh competitive play

This machine targets users who need desktop-class GPU performance and a high-refresh 18-inch panel in a portable chassis. The 24-core CPU and RTX 5090 handle modern titles at native resolution and demanding creative applications. Buyers who prioritise thin-and-light mobility or battery longevity over raw throughput should consider smaller form factors. The 7.25 lb weight and 0.98-inch profile reflect the cooling required for this component set.

Factory-assembled with upgraded thermal interface

The unit arrives fully built with Gelid GC Extreme applied to the CPU and GPU, eliminating the need for end-user repasting. HIDevolution performs BIOS updates, driver installation, stress testing and physical inspection before shipment. Storage and memory are installed in the dual M.2 and SO-DIMM slots respectively. No further hardware assembly is required; first boot launches the Windows 11 Pro out-of-box experience.

Questions about this item

Will the 18 inch 2560x1600 240Hz panel fit in a standard 18 inch laptop sleeve?

The chassis measures 15.59 by 10.95 by 0.98 inches so check the sleeve internal dimensions against those numbers before buying.

Does the 16 GB of DDR5 5600 memory leave room for a later upgrade?

The board ships with two 8 GB modules filling both slots so adding capacity means replacing the existing sticks.

Can the dual 4 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives be set up in RAID 0 for a single 8 TB volume?

The drives are separate M.2 devices; RAID configuration depends on the BIOS options and the operating system setup you choose.
