The Evoc X5802D (X580WNT-G) is an 18-inch gaming laptop with a UHD+ 3840x2400 display running at 200Hz. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus 24-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card carrying 24GB of GDDR7 video memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets users who need desktop-class performance in a portable metal chassis.

Sustained load behaviour with Gelid GC Extreme

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material on both the CPU and GPU to improve heat transfer under prolonged workloads. The 2.7 GHz base frequency can reach a 5.5 GHz max turbo across 24 cores while the 192GB DDR5 5600MHz memory feeds data to the RTX 5090. This thermal upgrade aims to keep temperatures stable during extended gaming or rendering sessions rather than only during short bursts.

Pre-order setup checks

Verify that your workspace can accommodate the 15.59 by 10.95 by 0.98 inch footprint and 7.25 lb weight of this metal-cased system. Confirm that your power environment supports the included FlexiCharger adapter for the 192GB DDR5 and 4TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD configuration. Ensure any external displays or peripherals you plan to use are compatible with the available ports on this 2026 model.

Questions about this item

Will the 18" UHD+ panel fit in a standard 15" laptop sleeve?

The chassis measures 15.59" wide by 10.95" deep, so a 15" sleeve will be too small.

Does the 24 GB GDDR7 on the RTX 5090 support external 4K displays at high refresh?

Yes, the GPU provides 24 GB GDDR7 and can drive external 4K panels at high refresh rates.

Can the 192 GB DDR5 5600MHz configuration be upgraded later?

All four slots are populated with 48 GB modules, so no further memory expansion is possible.
