What this ribbon does

The Evolis R3511 is a YMCKO colour ribbon designed for the Evolis Quantum 2 printer. It produces full-colour, single-sided cards using thermal transfer and dye sublimation technology. This roll is intended for businesses issuing ID badges, loyalty cards or access credentials.

The figure that decides fit

Each roll delivers 500 full-colour prints before it must be replaced. If your daily output regularly exceeds this yield, you will need spare ribbons on hand to avoid downtime. Buyers who need a higher per-roll count should look at alternative ribbon models.

Heat, noise and power in use

The ribbon is a passive consumable; it adds no fan noise, draws no power and generates no measurable heat of its own. Thermal management and acoustics depend entirely on the Quantum 2 printer itself. Normal operation stays within the printer’s specified environmental limits.
