Compact wired keyboard omits the number pad so the mouse sits closer and includes twelve full-size function keys plus one-touch hotkeys in a flat .4" profile
The Evoluent EKB is a wired compact keyboard that omits the numeric keypad so a mouse can sit closer to the alpha keys, reducing right-arm extension. It connects over USB and works on Windows XP to 7 with hotkeys, and on Mac, Linux and Unix without hotkeys, all without requiring a driver.
The USB connection provides broad compatibility but the twelve one-touch hotkeys for Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Web, E-mail, Computer, Mute, Volume Down, Volume Up, Sleep and Turn Off function only on Windows; on other supported operating systems those keys do not activate their labelled actions.
Precision scissor switches give crisp tactile feedback and the key tops sit just .4 inches above the desk on a fully flat base with no rear tilt, reducing wrist strain. Full-size arrow and F1-F12 keys keep familiar dimensions, while tactile bumps on selected keys help touch-typing accuracy without looking.

The Evoluent EKB removes the number pad so the mouse sits closer and your right arm stays relaxed, while keeping full-size arrow and F1-F12 keys.
The keyboard sits fully flat with key tops only .4 inches off the desk, removing upward wrist strain and letting hands rest in a neutral position.
It plugs in and works without drivers on all three systems; Windows XP to 7 supports the twelve one-touch hotkeys, while Mac, Linux and Unix run the standard keys only.
