  • Reshaped thumb rest plus two thumb buttons for extra control
  • Wide bottom lip stops little finger rubbing on desk
  • Side-mounted pointer speed controls adjust without releasing grip

Ergonomic vertical mouse for right-handed users

The Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 supports the hand in an upright neutral posture to avoid forearm twisting. Its sculpted shape includes a reshaped thumb rest and an extra wide bottom lip that prevents the last finger from rubbing the desk. Two thumb buttons and programmable controls are positioned for easy reach without finger contortions. Pointer speed adjusters on the side let you change sensitivity without releasing your grip.

Suits users seeking wrist comfort

This right-handed vertical mouse is built for people who experience discomfort with traditional flat mice and want adjustable pointer speeds indicated by top-mounted LEDs. The included driver extends functionality for the two thumb buttons. It is not suitable for left-handed users or anyone who prefers a conventional horizontal mouse shape. Buyers needing wireless connectivity or a trackball alternative should look elsewhere.

Consistent pointer response during extended sessions

Top-mounted LEDs shine through the chrome thumb rest to show the selected speed setting from extra low to high, giving immediate visual feedback. The side-mounted adjustment buttons allow on-the-fly changes without interrupting workflow. Because the shape eliminates forearm pronation, the hand remains in a stable position that reduces muscle strain over long periods. The wired USB connection delivers steady data transmission without battery management.

Questions about this item

Do I need a USB-A port to connect the Evoluent VerticalMouse 4?

Yes, the mouse uses a wired USB-A connector and requires an available USB-A port or a compatible USB-A to USB-C adapter on your computer.

Can I use the two thumb buttons and pointer speed LEDs on the VerticalMouse 4 without installing the driver?

Basic cursor movement and clicks work driver-free, but the extra bottom thumb button and the top-mounted LED speed indicators require the included driver software to function fully.

How can I confirm the VerticalMouse 4 is set to my preferred pointer speed after setup?

The chrome thumb rest shows the active speed through coloured LEDs labelled XL, LO, MD and HI, letting you verify the current setting at a glance.
