1D Barcode Scanner for Small Business

The Eyoyo EY-2877 is a new handheld reader built for linear barcodes. It targets small-business owners who need an entry-level device for inventory tracking. The scanner connects via Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless or a wired link. Compatibility spans Windows XP, 7.0, 8.0, 10, Android, iOS and Windows Mobile devices.

3-in-1 Connectivity and Offline Storage

Three connection modes let the scanner pair with phones, tablets or PCs using Bluetooth HID, SPP and BLE protocols. The 2.4G wireless mode reaches 200m in open air while Bluetooth covers 30m. Built-in 16MB memory stores up to 50000 codes when working offline. This bundle of interfaces and local storage removes the need for constant host connectivity.

200-Metre 2.4G Wireless Range

The single specification that decides suitability is the 200m transmission distance in 2.4G mode. Buyers needing reliable long-range scans across a warehouse or shop floor should verify this figure matches their layout. Users who only operate at a fixed checkout counter or require 2D code reading will not benefit from this range.

Questions about this item

Will the built-in 16MB memory need clearing once it holds 50000 codes?

The 16MB buffer stores up to 50000 codes offline; when full you transfer the batch to your host device and the memory is ready for the next session.

What range limit appears first during continuous 2.4G scanning?

In open air the 2.4G link reaches 200m; walls or interference will reduce the practical distance before the scanner itself stops reading.

How warm or noisy does the EY-2877 get during all-day inventory counts?

The scanner has no fan and draws little power, so it stays quiet and only slightly warm even after hours of non-stop scanning.
