Everything arrives in green finish and is ready for household drilling and driving tasks.

Compatibility checks

Verify that the 0.38 inch keyless chuck accepts the bits you already own and that the 1.5 Ah battery capacity matches your expected runtime. The charger supplied is dedicated to this 12 V platform, so no other voltage packs will fit. Confirm the 180 in-lb torque ceiling covers the materials you plan to work with.

Who this suits

DIYers wanting a compact, variable-speed drill with 21 plus one clutch settings for precise screw control will find the kit practical. Buyers who need higher torque, faster charging, a second battery or a larger chuck capacity should look at more powerful systems.

Questions about this item

Does the CB1301 drill set include a battery and charger, or must they be purchased separately?

The box contains one 12 V lithium-ion battery rated at 1.5 Ah, a charger, the drill with a 0.38 in keyless chuck, a magnetic flexible shaft, an extension bar, three wood bits, three masonry bits, ten 25 mm screwdriver bits and a screw anchor set.

Which version of the CB1301 should I choose for typical home drilling and driving tasks?

The single green 12 V model delivers 180 in-lbs of torque, 0-650 RPM variable speed and 21+1 clutch positions, covering wood, metal, plastic and screwdriving without needing a higher-voltage option.

What does the 180 in-lbs torque rating mean when I am actually using the drill?

It provides up to 19 N·m of twisting force, enough to drive large screws into hardwood or drill 10 mm holes in steel while the 21+1 clutch stops the bit at the exact depth you set.
