Vent Window Seal Kit 1973-1980

This new Fairchild Industries KG4903 kit provides replacement vent window seals for 1973-1980 Chevrolet C/K trucks and 1978-1980 Blazer models. The transparent components are designed to restore the original weather barrier on these classic vehicles. It addresses the specific need for period-correct sealing parts on older GM trucks.

Sustained Exposure Durability

The seals are manufactured to withstand continuous outdoor exposure including sunlight, temperature cycles, and moisture over long periods. The transparent material maintains its flexibility and sealing properties through seasonal changes without requiring frequent adjustment. California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm, a consideration for long-term handling.

Installation Fitment Constraints

Installation involves fitting the seals into the existing vent window channels on the specified truck and Blazer models. Proper alignment is necessary to ensure a watertight seal and smooth window operation. Builders working on vehicles outside the 1973-1980 C/K or 1978-1980 Blazer range will find this kit incompatible and should source model-specific alternatives.
