What It Is

The Famoby Phone Pouch case 4P-4P is a two-pack of iridescent waterproof pouches rated IP68 for 30 metre submersion. Each pouch fits phones up to 8.3 inches and includes a lanyard for hands-free carry.

Upgrade From Basic Bags

Unlike simple zip-lock bags these pouches use 0.3 mm PC and transparent PVC that keeps touch response instant and allows underwater photos. The jump is worth it when you need reliable protection for swimming, snorkelling or boating without losing screen control.

IP68 Practical Limits

The IP68 rating covers fresh-water immersion to 30 metres for the tested period. Salt water, chlorinated pools, high-pressure jets or impacts can compromise the seal so a 15 minute paper-towel test is advised before trusting a device inside.

Questions about this item

Will the 8.6 in by 4.3 in pouch fit my phone and still close securely?

The pouch fits phones up to 8.3 in diagonal and has a triple-seal closure; squeeze out air before locking the snap to keep water out.

How do I test the IP68 seal before trusting it with my phone?

Place a paper towel inside, seal the pouch, submerge for 15 minutes, then open from the bottom to check for moisture.

How often should I replace the 0.3 mm PVC window if I use it in salt water?

Rinse with fresh water after each salt-water use and replace the pouch when the clear window shows scratches that affect touch response or photo clarity.
