Six-pack waterproof pouches for phones up to 8.3

This Famoby set contains six multicolour dry bags rated IP68 for 30 metre submersion. Each pouch fits smartphones with a diagonal up to 8.3 inches and also holds cards, cash and keys. The transparent PVC window keeps the touchscreen responsive for typing and photography. A sturdy lanyard is included for hands-free carrying during water sports.

IP68 protection tested at 30 metres for 15 minutes

The supplier specifies that the pouch meets IP68 certification and has been tested underwater at 30 metres for about 15 minutes. The 0.3 mm PVC layer maintains touch sensitivity without noticeable delay while sealed. Users should perform the recommended paper-towel test before trusting a phone inside. Long-term exposure beyond the tested depth or duration is not covered by the stated rating.

Simple seal-and-go installation with a pre-use test

To install, place the phone inside, squeeze out excess air and lock the dual-track seal. The supplier advises a 15-minute paper-towel submersion test before first use to verify the seal. Common issues include trapping air bubbles that reduce touch accuracy or failing to close the top tracks fully, which lets water enter when the pouch is inverted.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.3 mm PVC layer stay responsive when the pouch is submerged all day?

The 0.3 mm material is designed to remain touch-sensitive with no delay, even during extended underwater use.

What must I already have so the Famoby pouch fits and seals correctly?

A smartphone up to 8.3 inches diagonal; the pouch measures 8.6 x 4.3 inches and includes a lanyard for carrying.

Will my older phone with a thick protective case still fit inside the 8.3 inch limit?

The internal space is sized for bare devices up to 8.3 inches; a bulky case may exceed the 8.6 x 4.3 inch envelope and prevent a proper seal.
