170 mm 24 V axial blower

This 170 mm axial blower runs on 24 V DC and draws 2.3 A. The 109E1724C504 model uses a full-circle frame suited to server and inverter cooling installations. It is a new component for builds that can supply 24 V power directly.

Suited for 24 V server chassis

This fan fits enclosures designed for 24 V DC cooling. It is not for systems that only provide lower-voltage headers or require PWM speed control. Builders needing a different voltage or connector type should look at other options.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 170 mm frame need for mounting?

The fan frame measures 170 mm square, so allow at least that much space plus screw-head clearance on the mounting surface.

How do I connect the 24 V supply without damaging the motor?

Feed 24 V DC to the red lead and ground to the black lead; the unit draws 2.3 A, so use a connector and wiring rated for that current.
