SKU CH-VJ8M-VX97F

A 120 mm axial case fan running on 12 V at 0.45 A for server chassis cooling

  • 120 mm square frame fits standard 12025 mounts
  • 12 V 0.45 A draw keeps power use low
  • Axial blade design pushes air through tight server chassis
  • New condition ensures full rated performance from day one

120 mm 12 V axial fan for Sun server chassis

This 120 mm axial cooler is built to fit Sun server inverter chassis where a 12025 form factor is required. It runs on a 12 V supply and draws 0.45 A, making it a direct replacement for the original 109P1212H401 unit. The fan is supplied new and ready for installation in compatible server enclosures.

Practical limits of the 12 V 0.45 A power interface

The fan operates only from a 12 V source capable of delivering at least 0.45 A per unit. Builders using a different voltage rail or a header with a lower current limit will not be able to run this cooler. No PWM or speed-control signalling is specified, so the fan runs at a fixed speed when powered.

Questions about this item

Is the 12V 0.45A rating compatible with a standard motherboard fan header?

The fan draws 0.45A at 12V, which is within the typical 1A limit of most motherboard fan headers, so it can be connected directly.

What does the 120x120x25mm size mean for fitting this fan in a Sun server chassis?

The 120mm square frame and 25mm thickness match the standard 12025 form factor used in many Sun server inverter and chassis cooling slots.
