11 cm turbine centrifugal case fan running on 12 V at 2 A

  • 11 cm turbine design moves air through tight chassis spaces
  • 12 V 2 A rating powers demanding cooling setups
  • Japanese NMB build quality ensures long-term reliability
  • BL4447-04W-B49 model fits standard 11028 mounting patterns

11 cm turbine fan for focused airflow

This 11028 model from NMB is a 12 V centrifugal blower that draws 2 A. The turbine wheel pushes air through a narrow outlet, making it suited for directed cooling in tight chassis or ducting. It arrives new and ready to install.

Suits builds needing high static pressure in a 11

Buyers who want a standard axial case fan for general airflow should look elsewhere, as the centrifugal design prioritises pressure over volume. Systems that require PWM speed control or a lower current draw will also need a different solution.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 11028 turbine centrifugal fan and what is the common mistake?

Mount the 11 cm fan using the four screw holes and connect the two-wire 12 V power lead; the step often missed is checking that the turbine blades spin freely after tightening the screws.

What maintenance will the BL4447-04W-B49 need over time?

Periodically remove dust from the centrifugal impeller with compressed air; the sealed NMB bearings are not user-serviceable, so replace the entire unit if noise or vibration develops.
