Compact 40 mm square fan for tight server bays

This 40 x 40 x 20 mm DC fan runs on 12 V and draws 0.11 A through a two-wire lead. It fits the Magic MGA4012MS-A20 mounting pattern used in many 1 U and blade chassis. The low profile suits dense rack builds where vertical space is at a premium.

Verify 12 V header and two-pin connector before

Check that your board or fan controller supplies a 12 V two-pin header with the correct pin spacing for the 4012MS-A20. Confirm the 40 mm square footprint clears surrounding components and cable routes. Ensure the 20 mm thickness matches the rail or bracket depth in your chassis. Buyers who need PWM speed control or a three-wire tachometer signal should look elsewhere.
