A 40×20 mm 12 V DC axial fan spins at 9000 RPM, delivering 10.1 CFM with 32.5 dB(A) noise
This 40 x 20 mm axial fan runs on 12 VDC and draws 0.18 A at 9000 RPM. It delivers 10.1 CFM of airflow with 0.416 inches of water static pressure while producing 32.5 dB(A) of noise. The ball-bearing design suits 1U servers, network switches and other space-constrained enclosures.
The fan terminates in a simple two-lead cable for direct 12 V wiring. No PWM or tachometer leads are included, so speed control and monitoring must be handled externally if required. The 1.44 W power draw keeps load minimal on the host supply.
Four corner holes accept standard M3 screws for quick installation in any 40 mm fan aperture. The 20 mm thickness fits tight 1U clearance without modification. Ball bearings tolerate any orientation, but the thin frame leaves little room for cable routing — plan the lead path before securing the unit.
