  • 4020 form factor suits small chassis and servers
  • New condition guarantees full rated performance

Compact 40 mm case fan

The 4020 frame measures 40 by 40 by 20 millimetres and runs on 12 V at 0.08 A. It suits small-form-factor builds, embedded boards or tight GPU brackets where larger fans cannot fit. Builders needing higher airflow for full-size towers should look elsewhere.

Two-wire 12 V installation

The fan connects to a standard 12 V header with two pins so it spins at fixed speed as soon as power is applied. No PWM control or tachometer signal is provided, so motherboard fan curves and speed monitoring will not work. Verify the header supplies 12 V before fitting.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 4020 fan is running correctly after connecting it to a 12V header?

The fan should spin smoothly and move air through its 40x40x20mm frame; a steady 0.08A current draw on the 12V line shows it is operating within spec.

What comes in the box with the 4020 cooler and what must I source separately?

The package contains the 40x40x20mm fan unit only; mounting screws, a 12V power cable or adapter, and any fan filters are not included and must be purchased separately.
