- Brass threaded inserts and 313 mm leads simplify installation
Compact axial fan for mains-powered cooling
The Fans 5656SMotor is a 135 by 135 by 38 millimetre axial fan designed for 230 volt AC supply. It draws 0.17 amperes at 28 watts and delivers 235 cubic metres per hour of airflow. Brass threaded inserts on both sides accept M3 bolts for secure mounting in industrial enclosures or PC chassis.
Molex connector and 313 millimetre leads simplify
A Molex 22-01-2025 connector is fitted to the 313 millimetre lead, allowing plug-and-play connection without soldering. The steel frame carries an IP20 protection rating and includes a fuse on the bracket for basic circuit protection. Speed can be controlled 100 percent via analog or serial interface where the host system supports it.
Suited for rack cabinets
Installers who need a mains-voltage fan with threaded mounting and a factory-fitted Molex plug will find it straightforward. Builders requiring low-voltage PWM control, smaller frame sizes or higher static pressure for dense radiator stacks should look at alternative designs.

Questions about this item
How often should the sleeve bearings in the 5656SMotor fan be checked or replaced?
The fan uses sleeve bearings; inspect them annually and replace if noise or vibration increases beyond normal levels.
Which limit appears first when the 5656SMotor runs continuously at 230 V?
The thermal limit of the motor windings is reached before the 28 W power rating or 0.17 A current draw become restrictive.
What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 5656SMotor during all-day operation?
Expect moderate airflow noise from 235 m³/h output and a warm housing; the IP20-rated metal frame dissipates heat without active cooling.
