SKU CH-W766-3MMTN

A 230 V AC case fan measuring 172 by 150 by 38 mm with a 35 W motor and aluminium frame

  • Aluminium frame resists corrosion in continuous use
  • 230 V AC supply connects directly to mains power
  • 35 W draw keeps running costs low
  • 172 × 150 × 38 mm footprint fits standard 17 cm mounts

AC case fan for 230 V environments

The 172 × 150 × 38 mm aluminium-frame fan runs directly from 230 V mains at 35 W, removing the need for a separate DC power supply or motherboard header. It suits server racks, industrial enclosures or workstation chassis that already provide AC distribution. Builders without 230 V infrastructure cannot use this unit.

Aluminium frame and fixed dimensions

The rigid aluminium housing measures 172 mm by 150 mm with a 38 mm depth, giving a sturdy mounting surface that resists vibration in continuous operation. No speed-control cable, PWM lead or rubber anti-vibration mounts are included, so installers must provide their own wiring and isolation if required.

Questions about this item

Will the 172 mm by 150 mm aluminium frame need cleaning or bearing replacement over time?

The aluminium frame itself needs only occasional dust removal; the AC motor bearings are sealed and not user-serviceable, so no scheduled bearing replacement is required.

What thermal or electrical limit appears first when the 230 V 35 W AC motor runs continuously?

Continuous operation at the rated 230 V and 35 W keeps the motor within its design envelope; the first limit reached is the maximum ambient temperature the insulation class can tolerate.
