SKU CH-TXC0-8B7YQ

12 V server fan measuring 60 × 60 × 38 mm and drawing 11.2 W

  • 12 V power supply simplifies wiring
  • 2 W draw balances cooling with low consumption
  • 60 mm square frame fits standard mounting holes
  • 38 mm depth suits space-constrained chassis

SUNON 6038 12V server fan

The SUNON 6038 is a 60 mm square, 38 mm thick server fan that runs on 12 V and draws 11.2 W. It is built for rackmount chassis, network appliances and industrial enclosures that need focused airflow in a compact footprint.

Capacity and headroom

At 11.2 W the motor delivers strong static pressure for dense heatsinks or restricted vents, but the 60 mm frame limits total volume flow compared with larger fans. Systems that require high CFM at low noise or need multiple fan mounts will need a different form factor.

Questions about this item

Will the 60 mm square frame and 38 mm depth of this 6038 fan line up with the mounting holes on my older 60 mm chassis fan slots?

The fan measures 60 mm by 60 mm with a 38 mm thickness, matching the standard 6038 form factor used in many legacy server and workstation chassis.

How can I confirm the PMD1206PMB1-A is spinning at the correct speed once installed?

Connect the fan to a 12 V header and monitor the RPM reading in BIOS or a hardware-monitoring utility; a steady value within the model's rated range shows it is operating as intended.
