Fans 8015 80mm 12V .5A 4-wire PWM case fan

SKU CH-KTQ2-KHTJN

An 80 mm 12 V PWM case fan with a 4-wire connector for precise speed control

  • 4-wire PWM enables precise speed control
  • 12 V .5 A rating matches standard motherboard headers
  • 80 mm square frame fits tight chassis spaces
  • 15 mm thickness suits low-profile builds

80 mm 4-wire PWM case fan

This 80 mm case fan uses a 4-wire PWM interface for speed control and runs on 12 V power. It suits builds that need a compact cooling device with standard motherboard fan headers. Buyers who require a larger frame or higher airflow will need a different size.

Thermals noise and power draw

At 12 V and .5 A the fan draws modest power while spinning. The 15 mm thickness allows it to fit tight spaces without blocking nearby components. PWM control keeps acoustic output low when the system is idle.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 4-wire PWM connector to the motherboard so the fan speed is controlled correctly?

Plug the 4-wire PWM connector into a 4-pin fan header on the motherboard; the fourth wire carries the PWM signal that lets the board regulate speed automatically.

When will the sleeve bearing in the 8015 fan need replacement?

Sleeve-bearing fans typically run quietly for several years; replace the unit when noise increases or RPM drops noticeably under load.
