Questions about this item

What is the first limit reached when the 12 V 2.65 A motor runs continuously in a Dell PowerEdge 850?

The 2.65 A current rating defines the electrical ceiling; sustained loads at or above this draw will trip the server's protection before thermal limits become critical.

How much acoustic and thermal output does the 15 cm BG0903-B049-P0S fan produce at full 12 V speed?

At 12 V the unit moves maximum airflow for the 850 chassis, generating noticeable but server-typical noise and a steady exhaust temperature rise that the rack cooling is designed to handle.
