8556 n AC 230 V full-metal case fan

The 8556 n is an AC-powered case fan built with a full-metal housing for high-temperature environments. It suits industrial PCs, server enclosures and workstation chassis that require 230 V mains operation.

Replaces smaller or plastic-frame fans

The metal construction and 230 V supply make the 8556 n a direct upgrade when plastic-frame fans deform or fail under sustained heat. The jump is worth it for continuous-duty cabinets where AC power is already available and long-term structural rigidity matters.

Questions about this item

What physical space does the 8038 frame require to fit?

The 8038 designation indicates an 80 mm square frame that is 38 mm thick, so the mounting cut-out must accommodate those exact dimensions.

How is the 8556 n model installed and what step is often missed?

Because it runs on 230 V AC, the fan must be wired to a mains supply with a proper connector and grounded metal housing; the step often missed is ensuring the earth connection is secure before powering on.
