12 V case fan measuring 120 by 120 by 25 mm for server or instrumentation cooling

  • 12 V operation for stable server cooling
  • 120 mm square frame fits standard mounts
  • 25 mm thickness suits compact chassis
  • Original 9GH1212C402 part for direct replacement

Server-grade 12V cooling fan

This 120mm square fan runs on a 12V supply and fits the standard 120 by 120mm mounting pattern with a 25mm frame depth. It is built for server and instrumentation chassis that require reliable airflow in a compact footprint. The unit is supplied new and ready for integration into compatible enclosures.

Limits of the 12V 120mm form factor

The fixed 12V rating means the fan cannot be speed-controlled via PWM or voltage scaling without additional circuitry. Its 25mm thickness restricts use in slim-line cases or blade servers that demand lower profiles. Builders needing variable speed control or thinner profiles must select a different specification.

Questions about this item

What does the 12 V rating mean for my build?

It shows the fan runs on a standard 12 V motherboard or controller header, so no extra power adapter is needed.

How do I know the 120 mm by 120 mm by 25 mm size will fit my case?

Measure the mounting holes in your chassis; if they match a 120 mm square pattern with 25 mm depth clearance, this fan will install directly.
