- Thermal overload protector cuts power before motor damage occurs
230 V AC axial case fan
The Fans A2S130-AA03-01 is a 138.3 mm square axial fan that runs directly from 230 V AC mains. It is built for industrial enclosures, server racks or workstation chassis that need forced-air cooling without a separate DC power supply. The ebm-papst motor includes a thermal overload protector for continuous operation.
Check mains wiring and mounting depth
Verify that your chassis can accept a 56.9 mm deep fan and that a 230 V AC feed is available at the mounting location. The unit draws 310 mA maximum and terminates in leads, so plan for suitable connectors or terminal blocks. Ensure the IP20 rating matches the environmental protection required by your enclosure.
45 W draw with ball-bearing reliability
Power consumption is 45 W at full speed, delivering 340 to 390 m³/h airflow at 2800 to 3250 min⁻¹. Static pressure ranges from 80 to 120 Pa, suitable for heat-exchanger or filter resistance. Ball bearings and the compact external-rotor design keep noise low while maintaining efficiency in normal use.

Questions about this item
Does the fan ship with a power cable or must I supply my own lead?
The unit terminates in a lead so it connects directly to a 230 V AC supply without a separate cable.
Which airflow and speed rating applies to my 230 V supply?
At 230 V AC the fan delivers 390 m³/h at 3 250 min⁻¹ with 120 Pa static pressure.
Will the 45 W draw trip a standard 10 A circuit when several fans run together?
Each fan draws 310 mA so up to thirty units stay within a 10 A breaker limit.
