Two 70 mm square fans with 3-wire 12 V connections for server or case cooling

  • Compact 70x70x15mm frame fits tight spaces
  • 3-wire connection enables speed monitoring
  • Twin pack delivers dual-fan airflow

Two 70 mm 12 V case fans

This pair of square case fans measures 70 by 70 by 15 mm and runs on 12 V DC at 0.14 A each. The three-wire connection provides tachometer feedback for speed monitoring. They are suited to compact chassis or server units that require a slim 70 mm footprint.

Replaces worn 70 mm three-wire fans

The fans serve as direct replacements for failed or noisy 70 mm units with the same voltage and connector. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original fan has stopped spinning or when acoustic levels have risen beyond acceptable limits. They do not suit builds that need larger frame sizes or higher airflow ratings.

Questions about this item

Will the 70 mm square frame with 15 mm thickness fit my server chassis?

The fan measures 70 mm on each side and is 15 mm thick, so verify your chassis has a 70 mm mounting grid and at least 15 mm clearance.

How do I connect the 3-wire lead to a 12 V header without reversing polarity?

Align the keyed connector so the yellow wire matches the 12 V pin, the black wire matches ground, and the third wire sits on the tachometer pin.
