SKU CH-S2XX-XEKYX

12 V 0.24 A chassis fan cools compact cases with 7015 model airflow

  • 12 V power for stable operation
  • 24 A draw keeps energy use low
  • AFB0712MC model fits 7015 chassis slots
  • New condition ensures full performance life

Compact 12 V chassis fan

The AFB0712MC 7015 is a 12 V case fan drawing 0.24 A for targeted airflow in tight spaces. It suits builders adding spot cooling to small-form-factor cases, HTPC enclosures or industrial chassis where a low-profile fan is required.

Upgrade from passive or worn coolers

The fan replaces a missing or failed stock cooler when active airflow becomes necessary for thermal stability. The jump is worth it when component temperatures exceed safe limits under load and a 12 V header is available. Not for builds needing high-static-pressure radiators or PWM speed control.

Questions about this item

What are the mounting hole dimensions for the AFB0712MC 7015 fan?

The AFB0712MC 7015 uses a standard 70 mm square frame with mounting holes spaced at 7015 pitch, compatible with typical 70 mm case fan mounts.

How do I connect the AFB0712MC 7015 to a motherboard header, and what is the common mistake?

Connect the 2-pin or 3-pin power lead to a 12 V fan header; the common mistake is reversing polarity, so align the red wire to +12 V and black to ground.
