80 mm 12 V case fan

This 80 mm case fan operates on a 12 V supply and draws 0.40 A through a standard three-wire connection. It measures 80 mm by 80 mm with a 15 mm thickness, matching the 8015 form factor. The unit is supplied new and is designed for general computer cooling duties.

Three-wire 12 V integration

The three-wire lead connects directly to a 12 V fan header on the motherboard or a compatible fan controller, leaving four-pin PWM headers free for other devices. Its 80 mm square footprint fits standard mounting points in most chassis without requiring additional brackets or adapters.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.40 A draw trip a motherboard header rated for 1 A?

The 0.40 A draw stays well within a typical 1 A header limit, so the fan will not trip the protection circuit under normal operation.

How loud is the AFB0812SHB when it runs continuously at 12 V?

Delta rates this 8015 model for low-noise operation, and the 15 mm frame helps keep acoustic output modest during all-day use.
