80 mm 24 V case fan for industrial cooling
This 80 mm axial fan runs on 24 V DC and draws 0.21 A through a 3-pin connector. It spins at 3600 RPM and delivers 42.0 CFM of airflow at a rated noise level of 38 dB (A). The dual-ball bearing design suits continuous duty in medical, rail and industrial equipment.
Limits of a 3-pin 24 V interface
The three-pin connector supplies power and a tachometer signal but does not support PWM speed control. Voltage must stay at 24 V; running the fan from a 12 V header will not start the motor. Motherboard headers that only provide 12 V or expect a four-pin PWM fan are electrically incompatible.
Check voltage header and mounting before ordering
Verify that your system provides a 24 V DC fan header or a suitable external supply with a matching three-pin plug. Confirm the 80 × 80 × 25 mm frame fits the intended mounting holes and that the 3.36 W power draw is within the header’s current rating. The fan is not designed for standard 12 V PC chassis headers.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 24 V model or look for a 12 V version?
This fan is built for 24 V operation and draws 0.21 A, so it must be connected to a 24 V header or supply; a 12 V line will not run it correctly.
What does 3600 RPM actually deliver inside a case?
At 3600 RPM the fan moves 42.0 CFM (1.19 m³/min) at 38 dB(A), giving strong directional airflow for component or heatsink cooling.
The 3-pin connector — does it support PWM control?
The 3-pin interface provides power and a tachometer signal only; speed is set by voltage, not by a PWM duty cycle.
