  • Four-wire PWM control for precise speed regulation
  • Compact 38 mm depth fits 12038 standard slots

12V 0.70A 4-Line Projector Cooling Fan

This 12038 case fan operates at 12 volts and draws 0.70 amps through a four-line connection. It is built for heat dissipation in projectors and similar equipment that require a 120mm by 120mm by 38mm form factor. The unit is supplied new as a single piece for direct replacement or custom cooling projects.

Replaces 12038 Fans with Four-Wire Control

The fan serves as a drop-in substitute for existing 12038 units that use a four-line interface for speed regulation or monitoring. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original fan has failed or when a new build demands the specific 12V 0.70A electrical profile. It is not suitable for systems that require a two-pin or three-pin power connector.

Questions about this item

What are the mounting hole dimensions for this 120x120x38mm fan?

The fan uses the standard 120mm square mounting pattern with 120mm hole centres, matching typical 12038 case and projector fan cut-outs.

How do I connect the 4-line cable correctly?

Match the four wires — 12V power, ground, tachometer signal and PWM control — to the corresponding motherboard or controller header pins; reversing power and ground will prevent the fan from spinning.
