SKU CH-58MY-E389S

A 50 mm centrifugal turbofan moves air through a 20 mm thick frame at 12 V and 0.23 A

  • Compact 50×50×20 mm size fits tight projector cases
  • 12 V 0.23 A draw keeps power needs low
  • Centrifugal turbofan design pushes air through restricted vents
  • New condition ensures full rated airflow from day one

Compact Centrifugal Cooling for Tight Spaces

The Fans BFB0512VHD 5020 is a 50x50x20mm centrifugal turbofan designed for projector cooling and small-form-factor cases. Its blower-style impeller directs airflow through a focused exhaust, making it suited to builds where traditional axial fans cannot fit or where directed airflow is required.

12V Operation at 0.23A Draw

Running on 12V at 0.23A, the fan draws minimal power from a standard header. The centrifugal design produces a steady air stream with a characteristic tonal profile typical of blower wheels. In normal use the unit remains thermally stable within its compact frame.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 5020 centrifugal turbofan in a standard 50x50mm mounting pattern, and what step is often missed?

Align the four screw holes on the 50x50mm frame, secure with M3 screws, then connect the two-wire lead to a 12V header; the step often missed is verifying airflow direction so the centrifugal exhaust points toward the heatsink.

What maintenance will the 12V 0.23A centrifugal turbofan need over its service life?

Periodically remove dust from the impeller blades and intake vents with compressed air; the sealed bearing design requires no lubrication, so cleaning is the only routine upkeep.
