AC case fan for 220 V systems

This AC-powered case fan measures 254 mm square by 89 mm deep and connects directly to a 220 V mains supply. It is intended for enclosures that can accommodate a 25.4 cm frame and need continuous airflow without a separate DC power source. Builders working with low-voltage motherboard headers or compact chassis should look elsewhere.

Sustained airflow at mains voltage

Because the motor runs on alternating current, it delivers steady rotational force as long as power is present, avoiding the voltage-drop issues that can affect DC fans on long cable runs. The 89 mm depth allows a substantial blade span for consistent static pressure through restrictive grilles or filters. No speed-control circuitry is described, so the fan operates at its fixed rated speed whenever the circuit is live.
