  • Replaces worn CPU fan heatsink for reliable cooling

  • Direct-fit design matches original mounting points

Compatible ThinkPad models

This CPU fan and heatsink assembly is designed for Lenovo ThinkPad E431, E440 and E540 laptops. It replaces the original cooling unit when the existing fan fails or thermal performance degrades. Installation restores proper airflow over the processor and chipset. The part is supplied new and ready to fit.

When replacement is worthwhile

The jump is worth it when the current fan runs loudly, spins irregularly or stops altogether, causing the system to throttle or shut down. It also applies when dried thermal compound and dust buildup can no longer be resolved by cleaning alone. Buyers who need a dual-fan layout or liquid cooling for a desktop build cannot use this laptop-specific module.
