Fans D12E-12PS2 01B 12038 12V 1.70A 120x120x38mm case fan

SKU CH-W5W9-0V8GS

12 V case fan measuring 120 x 120 x 38 mm drawing 1.70 A for chassis cooling

  • 12 V operation powers standard PC fan headers
  • 70 A draw delivers strong airflow for cooling
  • 120 mm square frame fits common case mounts
  • 38 mm thickness moves more air than slim fans

Industrial 12 V cooling fan

This 120 × 120 × 38 mm frame fan runs on 12 V and draws 1.70 A to deliver high static pressure for dense heatsinks or restrictive chassis. The thick 38 mm profile houses a robust motor suited to continuous operation in servers, workstations or industrial enclosures. It is sold new and ready for direct replacement or custom cooling builds.

Capacity and headroom

The 12038 form factor moves enough air for single-CPU coolers and moderate GPU heatsinks while fitting standard 120 mm mounting holes. It reaches its limit when cooling multi-GPU arrays, high-core-count server CPUs under sustained load, or radiators thicker than 38 mm that demand higher static pressure. Builders needing greater airflow or PWM speed control should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 12V 1.70A power draw work with my older motherboard 4-pin header?

The fan draws 1.70A at 12V so check your header rating; most 4-pin headers supply up to 1A, so a splitter or powered hub may be needed.

How can I confirm the 12038 model is spinning at the correct speed after install?

Enter BIOS or use monitoring software to read the RPM reported on the fan header; it should show a steady value that matches the fan's specification.
