  • 50 A draw keeps energy use low
  • 60 × 60 × 20 mm frame slides into tight bays
  • Two-wire lead connects straight to motherboard headers

Compact server cooling fan

The D60SV-12C is a 60 mm square case fan built for tight server and workstation chassis. It runs on 12 V DC and draws .50 A through a simple two-wire connection. The 20 mm thickness fits standard slim mounting points in rack enclosures.

Two-wire power only

This fan has no speed sensor or PWM control, so the motherboard or fan controller cannot monitor or regulate its RPM. Buyers who need variable speed or tach feedback should choose a three-wire or four-wire model instead.

Questions about this item

How much current does the 12 V fan draw when running?

It draws .50 A at 12 V, so the motor uses about 6 W of power in operation.

What connector standard does the 2-wire lead follow and what does that limit?

The two-wire lead provides power and ground only, so the motherboard or controller cannot read speed or adjust voltage automatically.
