  • 05 A draw enables strong airflow
  • fPWM control adjusts speed to demand
  • 12025 form factor fits standard mounts

AVC DS12025B12U 12V PWM case fan

The AVC DS12025B12U is a 12 V PWM case fan rated at 1.05 A for system builders who need high airflow in a standard 12025 frame. It suits chassis that support four-pin speed control and want strong air movement without external controllers.

Thermals noise and power

At 12 V the fan draws 1.05 A so power consumption scales directly with the PWM duty cycle set by the motherboard. Noise rises with speed while thermal performance improves as airflow increases across the curve.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DS12025B12U 12025 case fan and what step is often missed?

Mount the 12025 fan using four screws through the corner holes, connect the 4-pin fPWM connector to the motherboard header, and ensure the arrow on the frame matches the intended airflow direction — the direction arrow is the step most builders overlook.

What maintenance or replacement will the DS12025B12U 12025 fan need over time?

Expect to clean dust from the blades and frame every few months with compressed air; the 12V 1.05A motor uses sealed bearings that are not user-serviceable, so replacement means swapping the entire fan unit when noise or vibration appears.
