Compact 50 mm square case fan with magnetic bearing runs on 12 V and draws 1.2 W

  • 50 × 50 × 15 mm fits compact chassis builds
  • 2 W draw keeps system power low

Compact 50 mm case fan for tight builds

The Fans GB1205PHV1-8AY F.GN 5015 measures 50x50x15 mm and runs on a 12 V supply. Its magnetic bearing reduces friction for smoother rotation in confined spaces such as small-form-factor cases or rackmount chassis.

Thermals noise and power draw

Rated at 1.2 W, the fan draws minimal current while delivering airflow suited to restricted layouts. Magnetic bearing operation keeps acoustic output low during continuous use. The slim 15 mm profile fits where thicker coolers cannot.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 50 mm GB1205PHV1-8AY fan in a standard 5015 screw pattern, and what is the common mistake?

Align the four 50 mm mounting holes with the chassis holes, then secure each corner with the supplied screws; the step often missed is tightening opposite corners alternately so the 15 mm frame seats evenly without warping.

What maintenance will the magnetic bearing in this 12 V 1.2 W fan require over time?

The magnetic bearing is sealed and contact-free, so no lubrication is needed; simply blow dust from the blades and vents every few months to keep airflow at the rated 1.2 W level.
