Compact 3010 magnetic-suspension cooling fan

This 30 mm fan runs on 12 V and draws 1.0 W using a two-wire connection. Magnetic-suspension bearings reduce friction for quieter operation and longer service life. The ten-piece pack suits system builders who need multiple identical units for dense chassis layouts.

Replaces worn sleeve-bearing 30 mm fans

Upgrade when existing 3010-size fans become noisy or fail after extended use. The magnetic-suspension design is worth the change for builds that run continuously or sit in noise-sensitive environments. Not suited for mounts that require PWM speed control or larger frame dimensions.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 3010 frame need to fit?

The 3010 frame is 3 cm square and 10 mm thick, so allow at least that much depth and a 30 mm × 30 mm opening.

How are the two leads connected, and what mistake should be avoided?

Connect the red wire to 12 V and the black wire to ground; reversing them will prevent the magnetic suspension from starting.
