40 mm 12 V case fan

The HA40201V4-D07U-999 is a compact 40x40x20 mm server cooling fan that runs on 12 V DC and draws 0.6 W. It suits builders who need a low-profile airflow solution for tight chassis or rack-mount gear. The two-wire power lead keeps the wiring simple for basic on-off operation. Buyers who want PWM speed control or a tachometer signal should look elsewhere.

Two-wire installation notes

Connect the red and black leads to a 12 V header or molex adapter; no motherboard PWM pin is required. The 20 mm thickness fits most 40 mm mounts, but verify screw-hole spacing before ordering. The thin frame leaves little room for vibration dampening, so rattles can appear if screws are overtightened. A loose wire can also foul adjacent components in dense builds.
