Heatsink and Fan Cooler for xSeries 205 and 206

This heatsink and fan cooler is designed for xSeries 205 and 206 servers. It replaces the original thermal assembly to maintain processor operating temperatures. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation in compatible systems. It serves administrators who need a direct replacement for a worn or failed cooler.

Direct replacement for original xSeries thermal

The cooler replaces the factory heatsink and fan in xSeries 205 and 206 servers when the original unit fails or thermal performance degrades. The jump is worth it when the server exhibits overheating throttling or fan noise that indicates bearing wear. It is not suited for builders adapting the cooler to non-xSeries chassis or custom mounting patterns.
