Questions about this item

How do I install the fan in my Acer Aspire E1-432 and which step often goes wrong?

Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the old fan cable from the motherboard header, then fit the new fan; the step most people miss is re-routing the cable exactly as the original so it does not foul the hinge or keyboard deck.

What maintenance or replacement will this MS2372 fan need over time?

Blow dust from the heatsink fins and blades with compressed air every few months; if the bearing becomes noisy or airflow drops noticeably, swap in another new MS2372 unit.
