60 mm 12 V case fan with alarm signal

This 60x60x10 mm DC fan runs on 12 V and draws 0.65 W. It includes a three-line alarm output that can report speed status to a monitoring header. The compact frame fits standard 60 mm mounting points in chassis or equipment enclosures.

Suited for tight builds needing a monitored 60 mm

Buyers who need larger airflow volumes or different voltage options should consider other sizes. The alarm function requires a compatible header; systems without that connection cannot use the signal feature.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the three wires on the MB60101V3-000C-F99 and which step causes the alarm to fail?

Connect the red wire to 12V, the black wire to ground, and the yellow wire to the motherboard alarm header; skipping the yellow connection disables the alarm signal.

When should I replace the MB60101V3-000C-F99 and what sign shows the bearings are worn?

Replace the fan when it produces a grinding noise or the RPM drops below the rated speed, indicating sleeve-bearing wear after continuous 12V operation.
